ROBERT HAMILTON THE PHILOSOPHER
PATTERN ANTIQUE BLUE AND WHITE POTTERY TRANSFERWARE DISH C.
1811-26
"A
striking example of an antique Staffordshire earthenware dish transfer
printed with The
Philosopher pattern found with distinctive Wild Rose
pattern border. The dish is printed in an eye catching inky blue and is
thickly potted with a rick glossy peralware glaze. The Philosopher is
one of the rare identified patterns by Robert Hamilton of Stoke in
production 1811-26. A joy of a dish and in great display
condition so
don't miss out on this gem!" Antiques Expert
