BESWICK ART DECO STYLE 1950s MODERNIST COPPER LUSTRE JUG VASE C.1958 DESIGNER: ALBERT HALLAM

References: Produced around 1933-1972 the Beswick range of Art deco and later art pottery jug-vases, ornamental wares, flower holders and planters - offer a stylish and comprehensive range of decorative shapes from art deco art pottery, to some great examples of post war design. They were always finished in a variety of decorative styles to match current trends.
Dimensions: height 102 mm max. width 84 mm max.
Marks: Beswick Ware Made in England printed in gilt to base and impressed Beswick England shape number 1553/3.
Condition: In very good display condition for a piece of this type. There are a few minor specks of scuffing/scratching wear to the copper lustre finish near the base and a small firing chip to the flat of the footrim dating from when the jug was made. No restoration.
