STYLISH VICTORIAN BRETBY ART POTTERY STREAKY-RUNNING GLAZE EFFECT FLASK VASE C. 1895
"Stylish Bretby Art pottery vase dating from the classic Victorian art pottery period circa 1895. A striking pattern design of streaky-running glaze effects indicates the influence of Bretby art director Howard Tooth, who earlier produced similar finish wares at Linthorpe Art Pottery. The classic flask shape is a triumph of form and is perfectly complimented by the flowing fusion of earth tones to the decorative glaze finish." Antiques Expert Hamilton Bear.
