FINE SILVER SHAPE STAFFORDSHIRE PORCELAIN RIDGWAY STYLE CREAMER C.1825-1835 ATTRIBUTED TO HILDITCH
"An interesting, rare and attractive Staffordshire porcelain silver shape creamer jug of fine quality. Easily mistaken for Ridgway: most probably made by Hilditch circa 1825-35. Hilditch are best known for producing the cream of the Staffordshire chinoiserie-cottage style wares. This fine, footed, cabinet-class cream pitcher, must rank among their best work."
