STYLISH ENGLISH ART NOUVEAU LIBERTY PEWTER ARCHIBALD KNOX TUDRIC FOOTED BOWL & POWELL GLASS LINER C.1905

Liberty art nouveau Tudric peweter bowl Powell glass liner - Archibald Know or

"Stylish and desirable age of art nouveau Liberty pewter footed bowl with James Powell and Sons Whitefriars classic green glass liner. The design of this Tudric footed bowl is attributed to the great Manx Celtic inspired designer Archibald Knox who designed many of the classic Tudric English Pewter art nouveau pieces for Liberty of London. A lovely hard to find antique made in the Edwardian period circa 1905.  Further similar Celtic inspired examples of Knox design can be seen in in The Designs of Archibald Knox for Liberty & Co. A.J. Tilbrook. A wonderful and highly collectable example of best early English Arts and Crafts not to be missed." Antiques Expert Hamilton Bear.
