RADFORD HANDCRAFT ART POTTERY "MEADOW FLOWERS" ART DECO PERIOD LARGE VASE AFTER 1933
"Radford Handcraft pottery flourished on Amicable Street, Burslem, from 1933-48. Most of the early Radford art pottery work consists of hand thrown shapes. It is the attractive matt glaze finish vases - the decorative ornamental pieces; with typical naturalistic depiction of flowers 'drawn from life', that are the Radford pieces most sought after by current collectors. The shape of this vase and the simple clean lines are a delight. A larger than average vase which shows off the typical Radford flower painting style to great effect. This is a very pretty, desirable, display item with great decoration. You would be lucky perhaps to even find this shape? Enjoy!" Antiques Expert Hamilton Bear.
