BELLEEK IRISH PORCELAIN SUPERB LIMPET PATTERN LARGE CONICAL TEAPOT THIRD BLACK MARK C.1926-46
"A stylish Irish Belleek Third Black Mark large size Belleek Limpet pattern conical teapot. The exquisite details in this classic Belleek piece are highlighted with sparkling cob lustre decoration. An unmistakable signature Belleek marine nautical design based on the limpet shell. One of the most exciting Belleek teapots we have offered for a while so don't miss out on this Belleek beauty." Antiques Expert Hamilton Bear.

References: The Limpet pattern dates from the early years of Belleek production. This piece dates between 1926 and 1946. It retains the classical conical body shape unlike later examples which are globular and not quite so exciting in our view.
Dimensions: height 155 mm max. width (spout to handle) 265 mm max.
Marks: Third Black Mark as illustrated.
Condition: In wonderful condition - as good as you are likely to find. There is a tiny rim chip to the inner flange edge of the lid (illustrated). This does not show at all when the lid is in place. We suspect this was caused by the removal of kiln furniture after firing.
