BESWICK STAFFORDSHIRE ART DECO BALLOON TREE PATTERN VASE, RARE SHAPE 44 - DESIGNER SYMCOX C.1933-39
"This fabulous Balloon Tree pattern Beswick vase is very true to the art deco spirit of the age. It was designed by Symcox in 1933 and produced commercially up to 1939. Both pattern and vase shape are quite rare and a delightful combination. The only example of this type we have seen. The Balloon Tree pattern is certainly influenced by similar art deco designs found on contemporary Clarice Cliff wares. A real cute decorative arts gem that looks simply great on display."
