OLD JAPAN IMARI OR KINGS
PATTERN PORCELAIN CREAMER JUG C.1830-34
"Superior
English porcelain Bloor Derby Japan pattern creamer jug with flamboyant
double scroll handle and Derby Gothic Crown mark circa 1830-34. More
recently the Derby Old Japan Imari pattern has
also been referred to as the Kings pattern by
enthusiastic collectors worldwide who often collect on the basis of
shape or to build a harlequin Derby Japan service for display. The
precise Kings royal association remains shrouded
in mystery..." Antiques Expert Hamilton Bear.
