LIVERPOOL
PORCELAIN BLUE AND WHITE CHINOISERIE FIGURES
PATTERN BOWL, JOHN AND JANE PENNINGTON
C.1770-94
"An attractive early
Liverpool 18th century Chinoiserie Figures pattern English
porcelain bowl, finely transfer printed in underglaze blue. This
is a most popular design and one of the best of the later
Liverpool porcelain, John and Jane Pennington, blue printed
patterns. A particularly attractive feature is the additional hand
painted light cobalt blue background wash and colouring."
