A RARE PINXTON ENGLISH PORCELAIN DESSERT PLATE WITH PATTERN 342 C.1800-1813
"An unusual Pinxton English porcelain dessert plate decorated with a simpler version of Pinxton pattern 342. Pattern 342 is usually found with additional colouring. This simpler ungilded version of full pattern 342 is very pleasing on the eye and a rare and less common survivor. Dates we estimate between 1800-1813 and was probably decorated in the last days of the factory. We cannot recall another example like this for sale so don't miss this one!" Antiques Expert Hamilton Bear.

References: Examples of full pattern 342 can be found illustrated in most major reference works on Pinxton Porcelain. N. D. Gent, The Patterns and Shapes of the Pinxton China Factory 1796-1813, pp. 146 Fig. No. 217 illustrates a similar simpler pattern 342 piece.
